Solid Jacquard with Small Pattern Necktie
How do suits, shirts and ties work together?
The collocation between the three should follow the following principles.
Three monochrome combinations.
This combination is accepted by most people, and the overall effect of the appearance is good. It is calm, stable, and very stylish.
Two monochrome and one pattern combination.
If the tie is patterned, the color of the tie must match at least the color of either the suit or the shirt, preferably the color of the two; if the shirt has a pattern, the shirt must be in the color of either the suit or the tie If the suit has a pattern, the color of the tie should match at least one of the colors in the suit pattern; if the suit is a monochromatic pattern, you can choose a monochromatic tie that is opposite to the suit color.
One-color and two-pattern combination.
This combination is ingenious, but not easy to master. A single color is inserted between two patterns of similar color or pattern. For example, a suit and a tie have a pattern that is not very different, so the shirt should be a single color. Make contrasting colors between suits, shirts and ties. Colors should complement each other, otherwise they will look too drab or gaudy. There are two principles for creating contrast: dark and light, bright and bright, for example: a dark brown suit, a brown shirt, and a beige tie will look elegant and generous.
